TUTORIAL – Father’s Day Photo Craft 

Materials:

• Color-Me™ Bisque Plate
• Mod Podge
• Acrylic Paint
• Sponge
• Paintbrush
• Photo of you and your dad!

Step 1: Choose a photo of you and your dad that you know he would love! Then cut it into a circle shape so it can fit into the middle of the plate. The size is about 4.5″ tall by 4.5″ wide. Set the photo aside.

Step 2: Chose your dad’s favorite colors and use a sponge to create a cool pattern on the plate. Put a small dab of your first color choice onto your palette. We chose teal. Then dip the sponge lightly into the paint, and dab the sponge on plate. Wait about 15-20 minutes for it to dry. Then you can apply the next color and repeat. TIP: Press the sponge against a piece of paper before you use it on your plate. This helps take some excess paint off.  

Step 3: After about 20 minutes, the paint should be dry to the touch. Spread Mod Podge over the entire surface of the plate and place the photo in the center. Then spread another coat of Mod Podge over the entire plate again. This will make sure the photo is secure and also gives the plate a shiny, glossy look.

Step 4: Let the plate dry for about 30 minutes and you are done! Now you have the perfect personal Father’s Day gift.
